1. Introduction
Welcome to KEEM Driving School. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including driving lessons, courses, and related educational programs. By enrolling in our programs or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Definitions
- "School" refers to KEEM Driving School and its authorized representatives.
- "Student" refers to any individual enrolled in our driving programs.
- "Services" refers to all driving lessons, courses, and related educational activities provided by the School.
3. Enrollment and Registration
3.1. All students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in our driving programs, or meet the minimum age requirements set by the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA).
3.2. Students must provide valid identification and all required documentation at the time of enrollment.
3.3. The School reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any individual at its discretion.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. All fees must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon at enrollment.
4.2. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.
4.3. The School reserves the right to suspend services for students with outstanding payments.
4.4. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice to students.
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
5.1. Students must provide at least 24 hours notice for lesson cancellations.
5.2. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full.
5.3. The School reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to weather conditions, vehicle maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control.
5.4. Repeated no-shows may result in termination of enrollment.
6. Student Responsibilities
6.1. Students must arrive on time for all scheduled lessons.
6.2. Students must be in a fit state to drive (not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair driving ability).
6.3. Students must follow all instructions given by the instructor.
6.4. Students are responsible for bringing any required documents to lessons (e.g., learner's permit).
7. School Responsibilities
7.1. The School will provide qualified and licensed instructors.
7.2. The School will provide roadworthy and insured vehicles for training.
7.3. The School will maintain professional standards in all interactions with students.
8. Safety and Liability
8.1. While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety, driving instruction inherently carries risks.
8.2. All training vehicles are comprehensively insured; however, students may be liable for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8.3. The School is not liable for any personal belongings left in training vehicles.
9. Certification and Testing
9.1. Completion of a course does not guarantee passing the official driving test.
9.2. Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of all course requirements.
9.3. The School will assist students in scheduling official tests but is not responsible for test outcomes.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2. Student records are kept confidential and secure.
10.3. We may share necessary information with regulatory authorities as required by law.
11. Termination
11.1. Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
11.2. The School may terminate enrollment immediately for serious misconduct, safety violations, or breach of these terms.
11.3. Refunds upon termination will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
12. Complaints and Disputes
12.1. Any complaints should be submitted in writing to our administration office.
12.2. We will endeavor to resolve complaints within 14 business days.
12.3. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the laws of Zambia.
13. Changes to Terms
13.1. The School reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
13.2. Students will be notified of significant changes via email or posted notice.
13.3. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
